P.A foundation, owned by Idanre Lagos based computer scientist, philanthropist, popular miner and contractor, and humanitarian P.A. Lawrence, provided succor and support for the people of the Idanre community.
It was a day filled with glamour and happiness as P.A Foundation, owned by Idanre-Lagos-based computer scientist, philanthropist, popular miner and contractor, and humanitarian P.A. Lawrence, the Aare Ona Kakanfo of Ojota, Lagos, provided succor and support for the people of the Idanre community.
The P.A. Lawrence Foundation has education as one of its cardinal points of intervention in the community.
The CEO, while speaking with the Idanre Hills Reporters correspondent from London, UK, said education is the bedrock of a better society; in order to have a sane society, education must not be neglected.
The Foundation had a tour round schools within the Idanre local government, where they provided educational support to students across schools, namely:
- Ilemobola Girl High School, Idanre
- Idanre High School, Alade Idanre
- Ebun Ogunyimika Comprehensive High School, Atosin, Idanre
- C.a.c. Grammar School, Idanre
- St. Joseph Catholic Grammar School, Idanre
- Olofin 'Ang' Grammar School, Idanre
- Methodist High School, Idanre
- Baptist High School, Idanre
This gesture met with excitement from the students, the school administrators and the parents of the wards. The students appreciated this kind gesture and described it as timely because it came when they needed it most. The school administrators also extend their deepest gratitude for the hand of love towards their students and pray that the foundation will continue to increase.
Speaking on behalf of some of the parents of the beneficiaries, Mrs. Akiniamilo expressed deep gratitude to P.A. Lawrence and his foundation for their humanitarian services and prayed that God would reward their kindness towards man with kindness from God.
